The Town of Webster and the Jackson County Board of Elections invite you to participate in a Jackson County Civic Forum, a free, family-friendly event celebrating civic engagement, voter participation, and community connection.
Whether you're attending to meet candidates, learn about local government, register to vote, obtain voter identification, connect with civic organizations, or simply spend time with neighbors, we hope you will join us.
May Day Celebration
The Town of Webster and the Webster Historical Society invite friends and neighbors to our 3rd Annual Historic May Day Celebration on Sunday, May 3, 2026, 3-5 pm, at Webster Park, located behind the ball field and adjacent to the Old Rock School at 1528 Webster Road. This free, family-friendly event is open to all. The afternoon will include live music, lawn games, and flower crown-making, along with food trucks from the Chili Chomper and Frios Gourmet Pops offering refreshments for purchase. We’ll close the celebration with a traditional maypole dance.

May Day Celebration
The Town of Webster and the Webster Historical Society invite friends and neighbors to a special event in celebration of May Day. The event is planned for Sunday, May 4, 2025, 3-5 pm, at Webster Park, at 1528 Webster Road in Webster. This free, public event will include live music, food trucks with sweet and savory options available for purchase, yard games, traditional crafts, as well as a maypole dance, which has been a long-celebrated tradition here in Webster. Materials will be provided to make your own flower crown. An all-abilities playground is located within the event venue. There are some bleachers on site for seating but the public is welcome to bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket.

Ribbon Cutting & Celebration
The Town of Webster invites you to a Ribbon Cutting to celebrate the completion of the new pavilion at Webster Park on Sunday, May 5, 2024, 2-4 pm at the softball field adjacent to the Old Rock School, located at 1528 Webster Road in Webster. This will be a free, family-friendly event open to the public with live music, complimentary cake & cupcakes, lawn games, food trucks on site with items available for purchase, and crafts. In addition, we are reviving a long-time tradition here in Webster: the maypole. We’ll be guided in a couple traditional May Day dances to cap off the festivities.

The Town of Webster will host inaugural block party for Webster residents on October 2
The Town of Webster will host a Block Party on Sunday, October 2 from 3-5 pm at the softball field adjacent to the Southwestern Child Development Center, located at 1528 Webster Road in Webster.
The casual, family-friendly event is open to all Webster residents. Webster community members are encouraged to bring their families and a blanket or chair(s). Tents and well-behaved pets on a leash are also welcome.
This inaugural event was created by the Webster Town Board of Commissioners to become an annual community gathering for residents to enjoy. The Block Party will serve as a replacement for the annual Miss Lucy's Picnic and Town of Webster Community Dinner.
There will be a food truck on site, live music, lawn games and more. Residents are welcome to bring games, bikes, corn hole boards, or musical instruments for an open jam.
There will be a limited number of complimentary food and drink tickets given to Webster residents who RSVP while supplies last. Once tickets are gone, residents can purchase food or drinks from vendors.
No smoking, vaping, or alcohol will be allowed.
